The Fluoride Filter is specifically designed to control flow as part of its advanced filtration process. This ensures optimal contact time for effective fluoride reduction. For some, this may lead to a reduced flow rate. However, our engineers have worked hard to balance the flow rate with maximum fluoride removal, so you’re getting the best performance from your filter!
It’s common for new filters to shed a bit of harmless black carbon dust or introduce tiny air bubbles into the water, which can appear as cloudiness or fine sediment at first. This should clear up if you let the tap run for a couple of minutes. If the issue persists, reach out to Water2 support.
Make sure the filter is installed in the correct sequence and orientation. The water should flow through the Pod 2.0 and then through the fluoride filter. Ensure that the arrows on the inlet and outlet align with the direction of the water flow. See the video above for reference.
